K-2 Response to Intervention

Our RtI (Response to Intervention) small groups will begin soon.
Kindergarten, First, and Second grades meet for thirty minutes each day in grade level skills groups. These small groups will help your child gain the necessary skills to be successful in their classroom.

We will be monitoring the children's progress each week to see where they are in relation to the skills that need to be mastered at their specific level.  We will be sending home a progress report at midterm or the end of the grading period.  One week we assess students in reading and the next we assess them in math. The information gained from these assessments enable us to make instructional decisions that best meet the needs of all of our students.

Our mission is to improve our reading and math skills while at the same time have fun learning!
