My name is Kim Williams and this is my thirteenth year teaching here at KES. I live in Kingston with my family. We really enjoy spending time at the park, on the lake, or going on fun adventures. We spend a lot of time at Zoo Knoxville as well. I am excited to get to share my classroom with you this year and please remember if you need anything or have any questions, feel free to contact me!
We do have a classroom wish list on Amazon. People are always asking how they can help, if you can't come and volunteer, please check out our list to see if you may be able to help in another way! Thank you so much for looking!

Don't forget this is the first week of "homework" that we will have this year! I sent the paper home in folders today, and the students will need to complete it and have it ready to turn in on Friday!
Here is the letter that explains our Monthly Extra Credit. Remember, you do not have to subscribe to Epic at home for the students to complete the tasks. There will be opportunities for them to use Epic here at school, and activities can be done at the library, or on computers/tablets, and with books at home.
Students used this multiplication test for the first time in class today! We did our multiplying by 1's. This is the test that we will take in class EVERY DAY! Not all students will be on the same fact, but this way we get our practice in every day. Students will have 3 chances to pass the test in one minute. After the third time they will be writing the facts they miss 10x each. Once they pass the fact they are on, they will move to the next number! The order of the facts that we will be learning is as follows:
1,10, 11, 2, 5, 9, 3, 7, 8, 4, 6, 12
