Kingston Elementary School would like to welcome Mrs. Amy Weis as our new Assistant Principal! Mrs. Weis previously served as the principal of Wooden Elementary School in Red Oak, Texas. She and her husband have ties to this area and are moving back in this direction to be close to family. She has a great deal of experience that will be extremely beneficial to us at KES and comes highly recommended from her current school and district.

Please see the following statement from Mrs. Weis:

I am excited to become a member of the Kingston Elementary family and look forward to coming home to Tennessee. I am a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where I earned a Bachelor's degree. I received my Master's degree from Lamar University. I have been an educator for over 20 years. My teaching experience includes K-5, and I also served as an Instructional Coach. As an administrator, I have served as an Assistant Principal and currently serve as Principal at Wooden Elementary in Red Oak, Texas, located south of Dallas. I have a total of 8 years of administrative experience. I look forward to serving the students, staff, and parents in Kingston this upcoming year.

My husband, Chris, is also a University of Tennessee graduate, and I have two children who are currently continuing their education at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Although we have been away from this area, we are beyond excited to move back to our home in Tennessee. I enjoy traveling, watching sports (GO VOLS), and spending time with my family. I am passionate about education and enjoy working with students on a daily basis. I am so thankful to be a part of Kingston Elementary School and the Kingston community.
