Tomorrow is DOT DAY! Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration. We celebrate this day in hopes that we can boost our students' confidence so that they can release their creative potential! Our art teacher, Mrs. Heather, has worked hard with all of our K-5 students to help them see that they too can be an artist; all they have to do it try! To help us celebrate, we are asking that all students and staff wear dots tomorrow, September 15!

Help us welcome Cody Cruz to our fourth grade team! 💙🧡 “My name is Cody Cruz, and I am a recent graduate from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I will be the newest addition to the 4th-grade team, teaching Science and Social Studies. Teaching has been a passion of mine from a young age, and I have pursued this dream since my sophomore year of high school. I moved to Kingston a few years ago and have felt right at home ever since. Health and exercise have been significant aspects of my life and align with my belief in the value of self-improvement. With the 2023-2024 school year on the horizon, I look forward to being a part of the KES family, and growing as a teacher with the students and staff of this school!" Thank you, Cody Cruz” We are so happy to have you at KES! 🧡💙

What a beautiful day for Mrs. Jones’s second grade class to enjoy buddy reading with the residents at Jamestowne Assisted Living. It’s been 2 years since the second graders and the residents have been able to share some good books together. The students enjoyed, not only reading, but getting acquainted with the sweet men and women who live there.
