2023-24 District Title I Parent and Family Survey
The Roane County School District has eight schools identified Title I schools. As a parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school, you are an important part of the Title I team. Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the parental involvement program and activities in our schools. The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. The following survey is confidential and will be used to assist us with future planning for parental involvement activities and events. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.

“I am honored and excited to be the new ½ time assistant principal/interventionist at Kingston Elementary. This will be my 26th year as an educator and 15 of those have been at KES. I have served as a middle and elementary teacher and as a math interventionist. I am a Tennessee Tech graduate with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. and ED.S in Instructional Leadership.
KES is an excellent school with a dedicated faculty and staff, exceptional students and a supportive community. I look forward to working with our students and community and helping KES to positively navigate our students' futures.”

"I am so excited to be teaching first grade at Kingston Elementary! This will begin my fourth year with Roane County Schools. I have experience teaching first grade, fourth grade, and kindergarten.
I'm a lifelong resident of Roane County and graduated from Rockwood High School. I currently live in Harriman with my husband Matthew, our two children, Miles and Millie, and our goldendoodle Junie B. Jones. We enjoy spending time with family and friends at the lake or pool, watching baseball, and UT football.
I truly enjoy teaching and can't wait to get to know a new group of students and their families. I am so proud to be joining the KES family!"

Roane County Schools TN will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 7, 2023, in observance of Good Friday. Students and staff do not report. Classes will resume on Monday, April 10, 2023.
